Not sure if I'll be down and if I do definitely on street tires for sure. Not putting slicks on a heads and cam w/ a 4.10 10 bolt
Still going to be cold out and Friday nights have been horrible for traction at Cecil last season. Still always a good time though regardless. Hopefully I can run better than a 13.3@109, still pisses me off that I didn't get into the 12's with what I had. I ran faster stock.

Need to get the 9" to my house and in the car first though. I was hoping to get a clutch at the same time but money is lookin a lil tight. And 4.10's on street tires there would prob suck. The tracks usually prepped good in the beginning but starts to suck later.

Cecil is the the best, hands down as far as racing goes, although the track facitlities are better and look more high dollar. I have raced at many tracks in the area and live closer to Atco and Maple Grove, but I prefer to race at Cecil...
That, and the traffic sucks getting to Atco, I can't believe it takes me over 2 hours to get there after work, but only 40 minutes to get home.

its not the most organized track, but people sure do run fast down there. My old lightning ran 13.84 at atco, A week or so later went down to cecil, virtually same conditions (humidity and temp..no changes to the truck what so ever) and ran 13.33.....Go figure...

those days are actually groups that rent the track, I believe the one you are refering to was put on by the Eastern F-body Association, they had a few track days at both Cecil and MIR but more people are closer to MIR and it stayed down there in years after...
