383 stroker build - looking for dependable shop I'm looking for a professional shop that knows what they are doing and are a VERY well respected. Im looking for opinions from people that have had their engines built and know first hand of their experience, workmanship, prices and how well they stand behind their work. I'm in NNJ, but will travel to South Jersey, Pa, Ct or NY to have this done right.

Sam, we can definitely help you out. We have a 7,000 sq. ft. facility in Warminster PA which isn’t too far of a drive for most Jersey guys. We do a ton of motor build ups every year. We just finished up a 402 APS twin turbo build and another 383 nitrous motor.
You can check out our site and speak to other members if you would like. We have quick turn around times and do everything in house, nothing (even tuning) is subcontracted out to anyone.

I would go with Matt at TTP. One trip to his shop and you'll understand why. He tuned my truck and will be doing a stroker/custom trans in my car when the funds are available.
Well Harris has the best prices so far. Thanks Chris for the review. What are you getting done to your car there? I will definitely being going there hopefully sooner than later. I just bought a 2002 Camaro SS 35th LE, 6 speed, T-tops, SLP options. Only 21,000 Miles on it! So we definitely have to do some car shows this year with it.
The 383 will have to go on hold for a little while but will definitely get it done.

no but someone I trust is going there and says I should check them out. Also they aren't too far as well. I live way up in North jersey. So far I haven't heard any negative comments about Harris SpeedWorks.
I have dealt with some of the shops mentioned and havent had the greatest experiences. So I will definitely do my homework and check out a place before I choose to have work done by them.
