Default TTP = great shop

I went to get the car tuned/dynoed at TTP on Thursday but half way through the tune my slave cylinder decided to have other plans. Anyway Matt and the guys worked hard that afternoon to drop the tranny, fix the carnage, get the flywheel resurfaced and button everything back up.

Needless to say this is about the best customer svc I've received anywhere (non auto related included). The tune and final HP numbers will be completed on Monday.

Hats off to a top notch shop!

Glad to see you were impressed by Matt and crew. TTP is the only shop I deal with.

TTP sucks. Why go to them?

Thanks guys for all the positive comments. I always show all my guys the positive comments on this board, they get a smile from it when they see their work is appreciated. Hats back off to my customers for making our jobs that much easier!

Cdubbz car is pretty nasty, got some more power out of it and we fixed the "carnage."

I'll let Cdubbz post the numbers. The TQ is amazing on the motor. We did not build it, just fixed the clutch and put a final tune in her. Really nice car and a good guy hope to see you again for future mods not to fix anything!

FINAL NUMBERS: 470rwhp/484.79tq
http://rides.webshots.com/album/5619...vt?vhost=rides

To sum things up...
- Car was at my regular shop (trans sent to SixSpeeds Inc/ ported intake). Aparently the slave wasn't fully torqued down and bolts went flying into flywheel/clutch during TTP dyno pull
- Matt and crew fixed everything within 24hrs and helped a brother out!!!
- My regular shop offered to pay the bill
- The car drives like a f&%#ing animal

FAST is now Mamo ported, added FT 85mm lid & FTRA (sold Whisper), switched RR from Comp Cams 1.75 to Yella Terra lightweight 1.7's. The overall cam lift is lower but heard YT were more stable in higher rpm's. I might put the Comp Cams 1.75's back in just to see if sacrificing the lift is worth it.

I'm curious what the spikes at 3100 & 4600 RPM represent? I took my 99 Z28 down there for a dyno day one time and TTP seemed like a really good bunch of guys to me too.

3100, have no idea but from what I understand most LS1 motors hit peak torque ~4600. My car peaked in the same spot on SLP's dyno too.
