Definately NHRA, I think it's ihra too. If the fuel cell is in the bumper it has to have a bar around it to be legal, technicnally. IF they look at it. PM steve burger on here and ask him, they just made a bumper support for transam's and are working on a camaro one so a fuel cell can be mounted in the nose, and still be nhra legal, and hold the nose up so it won't sag. Nice piece, I should have the transam one in a couple weeks.

Definately, I think it has to be a 1 1/4 inch CM .083 wall tube around the cell if I remember right. Better to find out now then have the cell made and fine out later. It's doable, you can have one fabbed aorund it, but you'll have to pull the nose and fender off most likly to have it done, a fair amount of work unfortunately.

yea, i had my 1 gall stand alone in the same spot and never had an issue.
yea, i removed about 100 pounds with y rear 10 gallon fuel cell, and all the lines ect, and moved the pump and filter to the front, and adding about 2 gall to the front cell. plus wheelie bars. im hoping i can keep the car in the 1.2x 60's with the new set up. we'll see
