Well?

The SVTOA guys used to do it, but stopped a couple years ago. I know Janettey was doing them, haven't seen any info going around though.

Just bought my Jannetty ticket today.

Yeah, that heat sucked last year. BUT I did get enough runs in to learn how to actually drive my car. Just need some MTs and to get the tranny back and I'll be there running. I think I have 15 or so timeslips from last year. And that was with giving my car a few long breaks.

Well, if I go you're welcome to use my 245 MT DR's since I throw on the slicks/skinnies.

Hell I started to get light headed swapping over the 4 tires on that hot concrete. IIRC JL estimated the DA at near 3300' that day too.

We lined up last year but then you pulled out of the lane right after we did our burnouts because of a breakdown in front of us. I'd like to line them up again this year and give it a shot. What do you have in store for this year? All I added were tires and an MN12 tranny. Other than that, it's just some shitty LS6 heads and a 224/228 cam (and of course bolt-ons, 12-bolt, and a few suspension parts).

No secret mod! I didn't mean to make it sound like that. I am pretty much done modding my car for a while as I am looking to buy a house within the next year

Just replacing the 2nd gear synchros, and redoing the gearing in the rear since I am annoyed with the loud. Last year 2nd was grinding at the track, so I was shifting lightly into second so it wouldn't grind. You know, just regular issues, but I've taken a bit to fix them just because I can live with em.

Anyway, how have you been? I remember you saying you were having a kid. Is he/she going to be a junior dragster soon? hehe

Yes, I have a seven month old little girl! I think she'll have racing in the blood thanks to me though mommy is probably fighting it. Other than that nothing much else different. First time since I bought the car in '01 I didn't mod it at all over the winter, fairly content with how it is though I'd like to get the spray working right and run some respectable numbers with it. Put down 100rwhp more on the bottle just to run a tenth quicker.

Anyways hope to see ya there, we'll catch up. Probably have Rocky in tow as usual...maybe he'll break 13s finally with that slowstang.

Great to hear everything is well. Did Rocky say he was coming? Haven't seen him in forever! Too bad he sold the SRT for something slower (although I'm sure he will quicken that one up!)!!! Nick got his SRT into the mid 11s last summer. It would have been nice to see two SRT4s kicking butt at the rental!
