Default tint ticket

Hey I just got popped last week for having tint on my window. I got issued a citation on the spot. I was charged with: "Unlawful Activities. Title 75. Section 4107 Subsection B2"

I was wondering if this had any point associated with it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I had 5% on my SS all around and its 35% here in MD.....i was pulled over twice(both for no front plate) and neither cop ever mentioned it. I thought for sure they would say something considering the spot light on there car still gave them no vision through the back window lol. All depends on the cop I guess, and how you interact with them.

BTW no points associated with it, in MD its a Repair Order you have to fix it and take it to any police to get them to sign off.

Way to bump a two year old thread! If it was not a moving violation you will not get points. When I went to court, I took the tint of my truck and they refunded the fine. It depends on what you want to do. You could just pay the fine and leave the tint on and hope the same cop doesn't pull you over again. There is no set # for tint in PA.

FWIW: I now have an E36 BMW M3 and had it tinted last year with 35% all around. No issues so far *knock on wood* (Dirty car photos):
