Those had to take a ton of weight off the car. Look sharp too.

The rubbing is common on those wheels/Gen 5's. Lowered or not.Don't know why they just change the backspace 1/4"

It was the rubber nipple on the ebrake bable where it connects but it is not zip tied out of the way...

Compress the suspension and check the lower arms. Under launch they are known to contact the rim.

If that's the case what is the fix for that? Clearance the arm a little, stiffen the car up, bump stop, or just space the wheel out?

I can't believe that BMR or the like isn't marketing a solid rear conversion yet.....

Hmm. I haven't been under one of those cars with the back of it all apart to be able to tell what there is for room. Last picture I saw, it looked like the outer lower control arms could be used like 4th gen f body mounts, then it just needed a phb/wishbone type setup, and a tq arm, or a pair of upper control arms at an angle like a G body type setup, which might have fit up where the existing rear end cradle attaches.

Just back 1/2 the thing... that's what I'm gonna do with my pig. Just a matter of getting the $ together, and then getting the car to Bob @ NRC

Looks good!

Problem with back halfing a car is you don't fit into popular classes like X275
