Default will it pass MA emissions?

Pacesetter lt's with tsp catted y and magnaflow catback. That should pass all emissions tests correct?

Also, will it sound better and louder than stock manifolds and Y pipe with magnaflow catback?

You should be ok so long as the inspector is not a ball buster and the SES light is not on, but, technically, the headers are not street legal.

I went to a different place to get inspected this past December and the guy did *everything*. He jacked up the front of the car and tried to wiggle the front wheels looking for excess play. He plugged my gas cap into some pressure tester thing to make sure it doesn't leak. He looked under the hood but didn't notice or care about my LT's. I don't think he looked for cats but I do have them.

I've never heard of someone failing inspection in Mass for having LTs but I guess it's possible. Biggest thing is passing OBDII.

Also, will it sound better and louder than stock manifolds and Y pipe with magnaflow catback?
It will sound much, much better. At lower RPMs it's not much louder but it will roar in the upper RPMs.

just make sure any codes are tuned out and if you do trip a ses light drive it long enough to clear out of the computers history. I've never seen an inspector look for cats.

I'm in Marlborough during summers, school at WPI in Worcester, and working in Waltham.

Thanks for all the responses, I've been delaying the project over and over since its a daily driver and I cant have the hassle of failing inspections. I'd really like to open up a little more power and sound tho
