Default Probably going to hit atco tonight

Going to see what my T/A can do for the first time. Hope it traps in the 106-108 area, times im not too considered about being its my first time with the car.

Lid,Cutout,Tune,Short throw.

Test and Tune/Motorcycles

Temp should drop to 75 by 8 p.m and 69 at 11 p.m

Humidity will be at its lowest around 4 p.m at 38% and will climb to 65% by 11 p.m

BTW if you see a SOM T/A stumble in the burnout box...thats me trying my first burnout with a stick.

Oh and what can i put on my rear quarter panels to help from sticking rubber all over them?

Anyone else in?

ill be there but im not racing..just going to watch some friends.

you can put some wax on the side of the rear bumper/rear quarters and you'll be able to spray or whipe the rubber right off. either that or get some blue painters tape for protection, just takes a little longer to apply.

unless you have Dr's or slicks, burnouts no nothing execpt wear your tires down.

Just wash and then wax the quarter panels and the rubber will wash right off the next day without issue. It's 100% worth it to take the 10 minutes to do just that section.

I'd say if a lid/cutout/tuned LS1 Fbody doesn't hit a 106+ at Atco, you've got a slouch on your hands, my friend. We pick up a solid 2-3 mph from LVD where we normally race going to Atco and my buddy with your same car trapped a 106 at LVD untuned (lid/catback).

My highest trap tonight was 108.35 so I'm on target. I just gotta figure out if I wanna put a clutch in the car because I'm thinking I'm losing ground in the 8th. My 60 foot was between 2.2-2.3 and I couldn't launch any higher than 1200rpm without lighting them up so I think it's time to invest in some better tires. MY buddy I went with ran a 13.21@105 in an automatic that all it has is a custom tune(not a dyno tune), k&n intake, and a flowmaster muffler. We were running heads up all night so we gave the people a little show, and ofcoarse the car making more power got beat all 3 times(me).

DadsZ28- Nice meeting you, I'm on here a lot so keep in touch. I'll probably try hitting up Atco on Tuesday because now I have the itch.w

I made a couple runs in the stocker. not impressive in the ET department but she did trap 106.6mph....right on par for a stock ls1 M6 with a lid. my first run i felt the clutch beggin for mercy the entire way down the track so i figured i should take it easy on the next. the second run was just to see what kind of trap speed i could get and didnt launch the car at all. nice nite over all....few of my friends were down there running thier Dsm's and Evo's...******* were clickin off 11.5's left and right. i need to get my **** together quick....
