Default NE forum?

dont know if this has been covered before but the eastern forum is the largest, and most other forums break it up into a NE forum as well. Anyone tossed around this idea yet? I feel like it would be easier to find local stuff, becuase living in MA, i dont consider Maryland to be local. Any thoughts guys or moderators?

while the eastern forum is one of hte most popular (behind only TX), i dont feel that the number of posts is beyond managable to go through every day.

while not mandatory, it is always helpful to precede the subject line of any thread that is regional in nature with your region... such as northshore boston: need help with clutch install, or PA: who's going to pat's king of steaks on saturday

yeah putting the whole eastern seaboard in one forum is silly.. I'm not in the same region as someone in georgia. I dont care what anyone says.

Thats about 1100 miles away... if this were certain parts of europe.. 1100 miles away would be like 2 countries away.

It doesn't go that far south, the list of states covered is: CT, DE, NH, NJ, NY, MA, ME, MD, PA, RI, VT, VA, WV. So Virginia and West Virginia are the southernmost states covered.

Good idea, then us Yankees fans won't have to put up with the Boston Massholes
s
eriously though, this can be a tough forum to read sine people are posting up the goings on of such a wide variety of areas.

so you're suggesting separating mid-atlantic from north east?

what would be considered each region? IMO, the only states i woudlnt consider to be 'northeast' would be VA, WV, MD, and maybe DE
