Good Job Aaron, car is moving now.

Yeah friends of mine were there that day as well with the Subaru club. Friends stock STI ran a 13.1.

He sent me the video of the GT run but not the crash. He had shut the camera down once it crossed the traps not knowing. I think it ran like a 12 flat then all hell broke loose. It looked fine during the run, no smoke or nothing.

Yeah. I had just turned off the camera, then BAM he hit the wall. The only reason I stopped recording was the time had already gone up and I was trying to catch the other STi that was next in line.

It took WAY TOO LONG to clean up that wreck!!!!!

Congrats on the times guys. It looks as though everyone did pretty well. My best was 13.13@106 with a 1.8 60tf on that run.

Thanks! It finally has.

As for the EVO, its one of the ones in the country that can run a #. If you listen about half way through, you can hear that Corsa.

Thanks Dan, its about time this car did something, other then disappoint.

As for the GT, I was in the staging lanes, but I think something must have happend. Whether it be a coolant line, it took a long while to clean up.

I read an article in a magazine about the GTs having a lot of problems and being back to the dealer for warranty issues excessively.

New Plan.....

My own set of slicks and skinnies
TRZ Rear swaybar/drag bar
HAL QA1 Single Adj Shocks/Springs (300 pounders)
Weld in the Boxed SCF's that I have.

Should do VERY well.

I'd save the $$ on the HALs and keep the stock shocks. I'm guessing TRZ is a drag bar like BMR.

Ours is an anti-roll bar, chassis style... not like the BMR unit.

Check out http://trzmotorsports.com/34f.html#rear for pics of it. We've been having some great results from it. We also have a torque arm thats almost done and has gotten some great reviews at the races where we've showed it / tested it.

Check this post out....

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-raci...id-inside.html

I was making a suggestion to MM, for my car it does mush to the right like all cars and I am not a fan of air bag. So he used this new piece and from what he explains it improves drivability since the front sway is off, like mine.

Racewolfe Craft and BMR are similar in design.

Yea, you could hear it a little. The guy who owns and runs that car puts DSM drive lines in Beat up Hyundai's and is a dirty street racer, can't expect anything else.

I should get around uploading my old 383 z28 vids which def you could hear the noise and it was the same exact exhaust. Just a higher comp 383 LT1 backing it up

^Same exhaust maybe, but it sounded like *** on the LT1. That catback sounds so much better on the LS1. Maybe that's due to the "custom welded" muffler

Yup, only a arm and a leg, at least I got to choose which one.

On a side note, I think the sound COULD be similar in annoyance if I took the cats off my car, and the compression was upped.

it will be it's own sound but the annoyance factor could be the same.

You definately got assraped on that exhaust. Hell I paid 300 dollars less then what you paid for the labor, and that included the materials for the custom 3.5 inch dual system.

3.5 inch dual system from scratch, or have an aftermarket catback and y pipe modded for 300 bucks more, that's got to hurt especially knowing that it's gonna be a restriction about 400 hp before mine.

I agree that the cats could be the biggest reason. Higher compression doesn't usually hurt the sound, but I've heard plenty of cars without cats that don't sounds good (not every car without them, but some).
