I can't wait, but on the other hand, I kinda don't want to see it.
A local bar to thechef is into racing of all kinds, they want me to bring the car down and make an appearance. I dunno if I want to do that or not, in fear I'm gonna be a laughing stock.

I dunno... you forget to turn a nitrous bottle on in teh semi final round when racing for 18 grand in prizes, and it's gonna be kinda hard to not look a little dumb.
Painful part is, that if I do look like a total chooch, I'll get to relive it again and again, as they'll reair that show at least 100 times in the next 2 years
But then again, if I go to the mall or something and even one person recognizes me and gives me a "good job" or whatever, it will be worth it

JL forget that bottle incident it was a hell of a day for your car.You should be very proud of how well you did at pinks.You had one close drag race to just pull off the win in one of your final rounds.

as with reality tv....its all in the editing. 
I seriously doubt, JL, that a show that's trying to build up the sport, as well as itself, would try to make you like a douche. Sh-t, if they can make Christensen look good they sure wont have anything on you!
Rumor has it they used ya in the drag queen segment on all outtakes.

Dave, that incident is one thing that I will never, NEVER forget. The mustang only went a 10.1 the round that I didn't have the bottle on. Plus, when I find out that the first final round with the mustang and the duster, the mustang goes a 9.99 and the duster goes 10.1, the 2nd round the duster goes a 10.1 and the mustang goes a 10.2, and the final round the duster goes a 10.17 and the mustang goes a 10.39, knowing that even when I hot lapped my car this year the couple times I did even with the 2nd run on the bottle it still went a 9.9x, I know that I had the car to win.
One thing is for sure, that if I get a chance to sign up for another one, and I get in, and by some iracle I get picked AGAIN (that will make 3 times if you include MIR last year when I was selected to race out for the last 2 spots but the car broke) I'll have another support guy with me, and we will have PLENTY of full bottles, with one guy that's task is JUST the nitrosu bottle and nothing else, making sure it's changed EVERY run, open once it's in teh car, they're up to temp, etc.etc. That, plus I'll make SURE that one other person makes sure the seatbelt is jammed up in the camera equipment!
