Dash N Dine Drag Race, Gainesville, FL 11-8
The company I work for rented the Gainesville Speedway, and we are throwing a little fundraiser. All money raised benefits the Taylor Bean Foundation. http://www.taylorbeanfoundation.com/
We are limiting to 80 cars, it will cost $100 and this will include dinner catered by Ipanima Brazilian Steakhouse.
http://www.ipanemaocala.com/ There will also be an open bar (after the race, of course!) set up.
It should be a lot of fun, and I would like to get some of my LS1 Tech-ers out there! You can get the details from the Taylor Bean link above, and sign up through the website if you are interested.
You can also e-mail Jennifer Chapman with questions or help signing up Jchapman@taylorbean.com

Bump! I'll be heading there with the wife (we love ipanema, lol). Sadly, It won't be in my car due to a tired clutch and hydraulics. But, I'll still have a car. A certain Impala SS, 383 h/c LT1. Just ordered the Drag radials today to be put on by Friday. Also tested out the nitrous system, and we're good to go!

Did any Aston Martin owners leave a bit early? It was before it was dark out, say around 5ish.
Reason I ask is I was over that way and was next to one at a light and it looked very out of place for the area.
In front of it was a truck from the early 1900s...yes it was a weird scene at that stoplight .
