Default Mod help

Ok so Im too the point were I want to start putting performance mods on the car. I did the exhaust and the intake but were else can I do to see an increase in power without changing the heads,cam,intake.. As much as i would be willing to do this I have no experience on the ls motors only the old carb stuff any help would be appreciated

There's only so much you can do before you're cam-limited.
There is some pretty good basic info in the Gen III External
stickies.

is the car a a4 or m6, best bang for the buck in both are gears and a tune. for the a4 maybe a converter. and when you say exhaust is that LTs back or just a cat back? another thing is does the car hook up? if not suspension may be a next step. all these thing are ways to make the car faster with out touching the motor.

Car is a m6 and it hooks up good right now I put subframe connectors on the car because of the ttops. I would do cams and stuff but idk anyone that i would trust to install it without breaking the bank

long tubes and a tune for sure. although, it isnt really worth a whole lot, make sure you did all your free mods too.

Im located in central Florida titusville cocoa area.. I would say just for now budget would be 500 bucks only because i went a little crazy with the appearance mods

if you are patient and search around, you can get a decent set of long tubes with ypipe for that price. or brand new pacesetters...almost i think.

If it's an M6 and you don't want to do internals, I'd do 4.10s, suspension, LTs & Y, nitrous, and a tune...
Oh yeah get some tires or you'll have the same crappy traction I have now.

as torquejunky said lts y pipe gears and a tune would be your quickest way to go faster with out breaking the motor open

OK so Im gonan shop around for some lts and a y pipe.. any idea how much a shops gonan charge to install headers? I can have my shop do the exhaust work for little to nothing.

And that would be cool if you can show me a few things about these cars

it normally around 300 for header and ypipe install plus clamp if you dont wanna use the one that come with like the pacesetters. and they run about 16 bux or so.

I wouldnt mind that drive down there.. do you guys install headers and such? So i could do everything in one stop and drive it back home?
