(yes, I am formerly ERIK@MASPORT...)
AT LAST! I could not take it anymore. After I sold my SS, and put a chunk in the bank back in April of 2008- I found it time to buy another car. I have to say, I think this one is going to be WAY cooler than the SS (though I loved my SS)!
Its a 1965 Buick Special I picked up from a gentleman in Iowa who owns quite a few A bodies...all of which are pretty dam nice. This particular car, while not perfect, comes with a **** load of nice features and items that are very unique to this particular model.
First off, the engine is a 454 BBC backed up by a TH400 which is backed up by a monster 12 bolt rear
The car is backhalved, and features some HUGE MT Sportsman tires. The interior is very nice, and will need only minor things here and there to make show quality. It also has a cage in it that was once a 10 point, but was altered to a 6 or 8 point, I need to crawl in the back and see whats up with it.
Not sure what the plans are for it, but I know it needs new paint and the motor/tranny need to be worked on a bit. I am thinking sometime int he future a fresh LS motor will go in with a poweradder that has not yet been determined...WE WILL SEE!
Those of you who know me and who have seen my work and attention to detail know that this car has a TON of potential. I wanted something that needed to be finished, but that didnt have to be built from scratch...I think this fits the bill.
I am just excited to get back out on the road! See ya guys around!

clean body style....a little too modified for me...would have been much more appealing to me if it wasnt back halfed...no cage..with stock wheels and a monster LS1 with a good size kit on it...subtly is the way...neat care though..good luck.

Hey guys- thanks for the feedback. I agree that it is one cool car that really is unique!
As far as future mods go, I am leaning towards a GEN III powerplant. Not sure exactly what yet, but I know I will want some kind of poweradder on it...I'm thinking Kenne Bell or Whipple style adders...
I need to rejet the carbs for South Florida's DA, as it is running rich as **** right now...
I also need to have the 4 link checked out, and adjusted before I go to the track...
I will keep everyone posted. I am excited as hell- that is for sure!

Nicey Nice Ride E!....
454 -4 bolt?....2 bolt Mains?
Early oval or 990 Heads? or square port?
Well The Color matches my Buick, but I'm expecting your's to run unmatched by mine....atleast with my A/C on...lol
Real nice ride, and that old school tuning that's needed is right up my alley too!

Not sure who did the chassis work. It looks pretty good. Not a Barrett Jackson job, but def lots of potential once the body is finished...
Thanks for all the kind words guys...I will get a video at some point and put it up...
