I had one done in Orlando years ago, but the shop isn't around now.
I wouldn't shorten the axles.... buy some the right length.

I wouldn't trust respline axle's I do know people have done it But for $300 just buy some Moser. Just have the housing shortened.

Advanced driveline on Carter Rd in Orlando near the old Ben White horse track off lee rd. They can shorten and respline the rear. But I would Listen to N2OMIKE, spend the $ and get a pair of good axles all ready done, I had a bad experience with a resplined axle. They can order any length from Moser and then cut and weld your diff tubes.

I can narrow the housing for you - how much does it need to be narrowed?

There is nothing wrong with cutting and re-splining the stock shafts. The problem you run into is that most shafts neck down and the diameter of the shaft becomes smaller and you can't machine it to the same diameter.

Your best bet would be to have Moser build you some axles.

Thanks,
David
