F-Body GATHERING AT TAMPA AREA CAR SHOW THIS SATURDAY Feb.21
The Plant City Strawberry Classic Auto Show is on this Saturday, Feb. 21 from 4PM to 9PM. There will be an F-Body gathering and we usually park in the parking lot of a bank(forgot the name of the bank) I believe that is the S.E. corner of Reynoldes Street West and North Wheeler Street. It would be great to have an F-Body caravan leave Tampa, onto Interstate 4 to Plant City. We just need to get a game plan and meeting location. Let's try to get a group for fun and fellowship. I think HidalgoZ28 is also on this. He might have more information on this also. See you there.

Here's more info on the show:
Plant City, Florida – A little over a decade ago, an idea was sparked in the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World…an idea for a car show. Now, as the 11th anniversary of the Plant City Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Strawberry Classic Car Show draws closer, plans are in the works for an event to remember.
Plant City holds their Classic Car Show the third Saturday of each month from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in their historic downtown district. This event gives not only those who can appreciate vintage vehicles a great night out on the town, but also offers a fun evening for those who can appreciate antique shops and unique eating scenes.
Open to 1983 and older cars and trucks, with free vehicle registration and spectator admission, an average car show brings out about 400-600 submissions and spectators numbering in the thousands. Registration for the April 19th event will begin at 3:00 p.m., with free dash plaques given to the first 200 who register. There’s also a chance for one entry to win a framed color Magazine Cover photo of their registered vehicle, as well as six award plaques up for grabs.
Antique, classic, hot rod and custom vehicles aren’t all onlookers will find at the car show. Live music, good food and plenty to see from local businesses and sponsors are more than enough to keep anyone interested for the evening. Southern Star Bluegrass Band will be performing at 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and there will be opportunities for all in attendance to win the 50/50 drawing, as well as a variety of door prizes.
The casual observer on any third Saturday of the month in Plant City is amazed by the amount of people in attendance, the beauty of the machines they are viewing, and the likeability of the town as a whole and what it has to offer.

Yea, they have one every month, but a bunch of F-Body dudes wanted to enjoy this terrific weather that we're going to have Saturday and join up over there.
This T-Top cruising weather won't last much longer.

I don't think there are any year restrictions. Once a month they have a car show and once a month they have a bike show. Basically every 2 weeks they have some kind of show. I'm not sure if today's is something different or that normal monthly one.
