Trying to make my mind up now. Thinking about a th350 and I would do it in a heart beat but I like driving it on the street. It would be faster with the th350 but it would suck to dd it. It was the U-joint that caused it so I may just put it back the way it was and put some monster U-joints in it.

I was thinking about that but I don't know what it would take to put the 4l80E. Have you done some research and found out what it costs for the 80seats swap?

O ya the car started right up today and the motor is fine!! We are going to fix the 60e for now and see if I can get some big U-joints. I do need to take the drive shaft in to get it repaired because it destroyed one of the ears on it.

I bought a 02 AWD Denali today that was rolled for parts, does anybody know what engine and trans they have? Lq4 or lq9? Engine cover says vortec 6000 and 317 heads. What trans is it? It's short with a transfer case. Is it the same as 4x4 chevy trucks? Complete drop out with full harness, computer, trans will be $1100. It has 98k miles any other parts u need pm me.

I wouldn't bet my paycheck on that but in 2002 I think it would be the lq4 (aluminum block)

I believe it is a iron block I'll confirm in morning, I'll sell the trans for $300 but i think it will only work on 4x4 and AWD trucks bc it's real short for transfer case to bolt to. I believe it's a 4l80e but it's real short. Would be a good deal for someone looking for a 6.0 bc it's complete and u could sell the tranny and get most ur money back.

and yes that should be the 4l80e
