Nope. Need to study. Last final is the 15th, and I'll be working on it when I get home. Plan to have it done by next weekend.

Alright. Calipers are done. Don't have pics of them on the car yet. Been kinda working slow on the car. Had a problem with a piece of the regulator for the gas of the welder I borrowed coming missing. But, I got a hookup on another welder and or regulator tomorrow, so the exhaust will begin!!! Anyways...on to the pics of the calipers.

Some prep work with the wire wheel

Ready for powder

The "tools" for powdercoating

And the finished product

ended up using two coats of mirror black, and then a coat of clear coat.

Hope you don't run 15" wheels b/c that nice powdercoat would have to get messy from the grinding.....

Not anytime soon!!! But it's so ridiculously easy to powder coat them it wouldn't be hard to do some touch up work! My stock 16x8's with m/t's will be just fine for me for awhile.

Alright, just got done doing the initial fab work on the y-pipe setup. I must say, the ground clearance is the best I've seen factoring in the size of pipe I'm using. And I have a minimum of 1/2" clearance to all body pieces. Anyways, just need to completely weld it and give it a coat of black high temp paint. Big thanks to my cousin who had a back up welder and wanted to do the welding too!!!! I just simply measured, cut, and lined it up. The cousin did all the welding (except one pipe that I wanted to give a shot and did a pretty good job for a novice!). On to the pics!

I'll get a full pic of it bolted up when it's all done being welded up and put back in place before paint!

Nice piece there, I went with the FM Merge too on my Y, cut out all the rasp. What catback are you going with? Nice to see a project come together and good thing your hitting it all at once. Are doing a cam swap too?

Sticking with the stock catback. Getting too old for loud exhaust all the time, lol. No cam right now, maybe next fall I'll put together a budget head and cam combo. Right now this is just a replace what I broke with some bolt ons project. Knowing that once I finish law school in a couple years and will have a bigger engine or f/i I went with a bullet proof rear and big exhaust.

And here are some more pics of the completed exhaust!

Alright, just got it all about buttoned up. Still bleeding the brakes and I should be ready to go on the first 15 min break in drive. Also have a couple pinhole exhaust leaks that I'll have to weld up later too. Here's some pics.

I am going to be ordering my MWCP 9 at the end of next month. I just need to save a little extra money to get new wheels and tires at the same time.

I am sorry to beat a dead horse, but you have the worst looking under carriage I've ever seen. With the lift I'd spray a **** ton of degreaser, let it sit, and then blast it with a pressure washer. I'd do that until it comes clean. Possibly hit it with an orbit sander to get the rest off. Spray it with rattle can primer or your gun and paint it. With all of those nice parts you are putting under there you should be proud to show them off without people constantly asking you about why your car is so dirty.
