did anyone get the DS Loop and the PST DS from MWC too? seems the DS loop is having issues clearing the DS.

I had gone with a spool, IIRC ( it been a while, it was a Strange Pro spool ).

I got the loop too, but have yet installed anything. I will be going with a PST Carbon Fiber DS and **** can't be rubbing up on those. What kind of issue are you having? Did you talk to Eric about this problem?

I got the Aluminum DS from PST with the drive shaft safety loop. I just not made it to my house yet. LOL. What kinda of issues are you having with it, so I can look into your problem and make sure I do not have the same issue.

It is a custom "fab"-ricated housing which accepts the Ford 9" 3rd member.

Being that it is a custom housing, the quality is "much better", though that has everything to do with the shop/fabricator. The factory housing is stamped; though behind many 9sec cars, the OEM 9" is/can be a inferior unit; whats more, with a fab setup you can design it to your own specs.

Custom is 99.9% a better option over anything oem.

Being a fab, rearend the center section is a lot larger inside to run tall gears, has more fluid capicity. Looks a whole lot better, and the over all design is stronger over a normal non- fab set up.

I had mine custom made with some options that are not on his website, but can be added just ask.

Standard package, I went with the Iron center section, upgraded pinion bearing, Strange 3:70 gears, Back brace for housing, Moser 31 spline axles, welded to hooks for easy towing, powder coated, long torque arm with trans mount, PST aluminum drive shaft with 1350 or 3150 u joints, drive shaft saftey loop, and it came out just a lil below 4, since I already have a bunch of suspension mods I did not need the adjustable stuff they sold.

On top of that I ordered a Monster Stage 3 clutch, Electric water pump, brake lines, line lock, and a fuel pump, window motor. Going to have a big install weekend. O and I bought a set of MT ET streets for after the break in. Going into the tens this year.

Thanks I got the chromoly flywheel, lots of people say that the motor raps out a lot quicker. That is why I went with it.

i just intalled the Monster Stage 5 in mine with the steel wheel. Man if you want a clutch that freaking grabs then you chose well. if you are running a 6spd car the the iron wheel will help with the transfer a bit better than the Chrome moly one. plus it's recommended that you get a scatter shield if you run the lighter chrome moly. dont wanna lose your feet.

Yeah man you might potentially win more of those "$50 dollar races" w/ a steel flywheel It'll do nothing but benefit your launch and 60ft. General flywheel rule.....steel for drag racing, aluminum for autocrossing.
