You said the oil looked fine, but did you cut open the filter and actually look at the element?

The one one the passenger side def. had a leak on the rear cylinder. Its all charred looking around that area and that header bolt was real loose

To cut the filter open just take a hack saw or sharp thing of your choice and cut the top off - there is normally a groove right below the top - just cut along that (top being the end that seals against the engine). Once you get it open, take the element out and you will see that the paper is wrapped around a metal piece. The paper is attatched at the top and the bottom of the metal piece so just simply cut the paper close to the top and bottom all the way around.

Once you get it off, flip it inside out to look at the side that was facing towards the cylinder of the metal piece. The color and size of the particles you see will tell you if anything has let go internally. Hope this helps,
