SS hood question

SS hood question hey guys i might be buying an ss hood off of someone. they claim that its oem i asked if there were any markings stamps or something of the sort on the underside of the hood. this is what they showed me does it look like a stamp that would be on an oem ss hood. any help would be great

No i do not think that is a real SS hood.When u open the hood look down to the bottom closest to the windshield in the center of the hoo it will say SMC and below that it says Made in Canada and net to that U.S. Pat. No.0386457.Aleast thats what mine says.

mines a numbers matching ss and my hood doesnt have a stamp jjust the numbers under the shock maby different manufacturers use different marks

cars gonna look good as an ss bro just please do not put the primer hood on ure car wait till it gets painted itll be more gratifying
