I live in Orange Park Jax and could use help with getting onto base. I am a veteran but don't have a ID. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Andy, this place just opened up in the past couple of months. The reviews on Facebook have been positive. http://www.uwrenchitgarage.com/ They also give a veterans rate if you have your DD-214 (look in the pricing section). Can't beat that! What part of OP are you in? I am down in Fleming.

I live over by the Bestbet Dog racing track on Park Ave in an apartment. I noticed the 10% Veterans discount they offer, that's nice.

There is a tuner shop over on College dr (in Orange Park) and one in Green Cove Springs that I have heard some local guys use (can't remember the names). Depending on who you talk to there are various opinions on different shops. Wish I could help you.

Default New Civilian Hobby Shop

As a matter of fact they offer space to mechanics who want to start their own gig with low overhead. Just rent a bay by the week or month with no long term commitment. Not a bad idea.
