Jax do it yourself garage guys, i just found out that there is a do it yourself garage here in Jacksonville on Richard st just south of Bowden Rd. Looks like they have 6 full size lifts which they rent out by the hour and tool rentals too.
Bad *** find man!
Years ago me and my boys got together and renter a closed gas station that had working bays with lifts, we then created a hot rod garage club where for a monthly fee people could use it to work on their ****. Over time the EPA caused too much problems even though we were careful so we closed it down.
Glad to hear there is something like this in JAX!!!

Yeah it was all about the fluids and how they were disposed of; they were understandably worried about oil and **** leaching into the surrounding area, but it was as if they went out of their way to be a PITA

that is cool...never knew we had anything like that around here... Wonder what the pricing is like?

I believe it is $25 per hour for the lifts and either $5 or $10 for the big tools if you need them. They give out a 80 piece tool set to use with the lift rental at no cost and they also get a discount on parts that they pass on to the customers.

When I did it in Miami, a part of everyone's monthly dues as a member went to a million dollar policy and a $50K surety bond, at least I think that's what my buddy got.
