M6 shiftting problems?

Alright heres the deal I have a Ls7 clutch with bout 8k miles on it, i just started having problems shifting at high rpm 5500-63 1st to 2nd not bad but 2nd-3rd wont go in gear and then feels like pedal is sticking to floor. I replaced all Hydraulics, Synthetic dot 4 fluid, clutch master and slave and i did drill mod. Still i have a problem transmission doesnt grind in any gear, around town driving is is fine, very seldom if i dont put it in 3rd gear all the way it will kick out of gear? Im not really sure what else to do from here? I was reading another post is it possible syncros are Bad?

Have you checked to see what the fluid looks like after it wouldn't go into gear at high RPMs? Popping out of gear could be a synchro issue.

I'm currently having the same problem...Around town, drives fine..but when I get on it immediately after the clutch catches all the way at the floor..but within 30 seconds its normal again. When I went to the track 1-2 is fine but when i go for 3..it won't let me in then it wouldn't go back into ANY gear till the end of the track then once it did the clutch would engage at the floor for about 30 seconds. I was told it was more than likely the pressure plate. I also bled the MC and replaced the fluid but no luck so I'll be replacing the stock clutch with a Monster and the hydraulics will be a Tick MC and a AC delco slave.

Yeah those ls7 clutches don't like a ton of heat. As far as the popping out of gear that is a syncro issue.

Whose slave and master did you go with it? Is it a GM or advanced auto parts special. If it is other than a GM I would replace them.

How many miles are on the transmission? I would be giving Tick a call if your over 80k

The sticking pedal is due to excessive heat which can affect the way the pressure plate responds to the pedal being depressed. It will not allow proper engagement and disengagement of your clutch components until it cools down.

LS7 clutches are very hit and miss. They were designed for a Vette, not a 3800lb F body. The heat can really play tricks on you.

If need be, we sell Monster Clutches and Tick masters if you want to upgrade.
