Default My fully powder coated 383

































Headers are ceramkote gloss black. Intake, valve covers, fuel rail, all brackets, water pump and alternator case are all coated.

Thanks guys! Havent really figured out what the cost would be to do something like this since a buddy and myself did it. The masking and prep is VERY time consuming because all of the parts have to be baked for hours to get all the natural gasses and motor oil out of the aluminum since it is a porous metal. It may look to be normal and unsaturated until it is heated to around 450-500* and then the oil starts to seep out of everywhere and burn off.

I like it, but I would have think that with all the powder coating clogging up the pourius metal if ur going to see higher engine temps and cool down time. Now that the metal can't breath but looks neat

Thanks guys! There have been no changes in engine temps whatsoever! It runs in the same range it did before even after hours of driving and sitting in traffic.
