Lol, thanks for the reply man. Ammo Specialist...good people to know for people like us lol. We have had a couple members interested, so now we are just trying to get some confirmations for our first meet and greet. Keep an eye on the thread and let us know if you can make it out.

So Ed suggested we start a Social Group for this Veterans club/group. It would be a good way to see who is actually interested, and a bit more of an official way to start. I will work on this today and post my results when I'm done. Again, great idea Ed. Thanks for your interest and your 23 years of service!

I have just created a social group here on the site and sent invitations to those of you who showed interest and responded to this thread. IF you are still interested in this, feel free to accept the invitation.
After you accept the invitation or add yourself, feel free to post a visitor message and let us know who you are, what branch you were in, job you had, if you deployed...so forth. Additionally, feel free to add a picture of your car to the social groups photo album. You can do this by adding a picture from your profile photo album here on the site. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'm a little further away, in Gainesville. I own a G8GT and a 98 Z28. I've had 7 f bodies over the years though from a 92 to a 2002. I could possibly make it to a meet or two though I am really busy with work/school full time. I am prior service Army 31B (95B) did 2 tours in Iraq. Currently an MA in the Naval Reserves. This sounds like a great idea as I miss the army quite a bit some days and it would be nice to meet like minded veterans. I can't make it the 4th cause I work, but I'll subscribe to the thread and see how it turns out.

Thanks for your interest buddy. I agree, there are days that I miss the "life." You are more than welcome to come out to a gathering whenever you have the time. We are still in our beginning stages, but maybe we will have something going on a bit closer to you in the future; who knows. But hell, If you find the time; look around for Veterans with F-Bodies in your area and start something there

I would be down...but I don't have a fbody anymore, and I am transferring soon. I think it is a good idea though, and if it had been around a few years ago, maybe I would have kept my TA.lol.
