update!!!!!!! I have been real bogged down with work and travel. I have been putting off the last item I need to do before I pull the engine. That is modify my custom airbox for 3 filters instead of 2. The id of the filter mount is 2.375. So I had the effect flow of 2 x 2.375 which equals about the same effect flow of 1 x 3.75. It worked fine for the 346 but I need more for the 417. So now I have 3 a 2.375 or about the same as 1 x 4.375. Since that airbox took me forever you can imagine the lack of desire to attack it with the air body saw. Well it turns out I was just being a ***** and it was was a half day project with no issues. Well works still crazy so it will be Dec. before I yank the engine. I didn't want the thread to die so here is a little taste of whats to come.
Oh, in case your thinking why not get e BeCool radiator for about $75.00 less?
I suggest y'all read the fine print, BeCool only rates their radiator at 400HP unless you get there $1600.00 full kit with fans etc.
That Griffin is a Monster and rated at 600HP.
