honestly...it was kinda hard to get rid of it. Ended up kinda calling a favor into a friend cause 2 junkyards declined buying it lol. Said it had no value to them and to take it to a metal recycler.

hows life treating ya?

It was a very nice car,

but, when nobody answers up to the shell or parts, you do what you do to get rid of the eye sore!!!!

Yep, I was in the same boat once. Had a completely rust free 91 Firebird roller sitting in my yard, $300 OBO. Had a few emails from here and there, no one ever came and got it though. Steel was around $10/100 lbs. at the time, got $250 for scrapping the car.
I'm not a fan of third gen birds though, if it had been a Camaro I would have built it, not scrapped it.

true. at some point its almost not even worth trying to get it going. Like i mentioned. The car had no wiring in it. No brake lines, no fuel lines. No tank. Almost all panels were gone. No suspension. K member was gone. All interior was gone. It just wasnt worth even bothering. The title was only signed over to me so I would have had to drop about $100 bucks to get it fast titled in my name. How much could the rest have been worth? Some of the folks on here are acting like I let $1000 walk away from me.

Damn, I only got like $1400 for an entire complete 01 Z28 roller that had some mods on it also.

I'll post a pic tonight of what I'm sending to the scrap yard today. Yours is far from gutted compared to the 98' z28 I bought to part out. Bought it wrecked with plenty of aftermarket items with 32k miles for $2700. I just helped put the monster level 1 clutch in 600mi before the accident. So far I've sold $6100 in parts and still have another 2-3k in parts to sell. Not to mention that includes me KEEPING the 6spd, pedals, column, and driveshaft.

Junkyard? Last time I stripped a donor, I cut up the carcass
and put it in the trash cans over the course of a few weeks.
I did keep part of the frame for an engine cradle.

Of course I was hoarding sheet metal as well as mechanicals
at the time....
