Default HELP! Need a Dyno&tuner

Hi -I live in Port St Lucie area, need to have my 2000 camaro re-tuned and dynoed, original engine builder no longer in business. It was done using EFI Live software, but having idle issues and I don't believe HP/TRQ numbers are correct -appear low given it was rated 575 flywheel HP but dynoed at 459 HP rear wheel 508 TRQ at break in. THANKS IN ADVANCE

We are in Pompano, not far from you. Give our name a search and decide for yourself.

Thanks!

I will be tuning in the Stuart area for Extreme Performance of Palm City on April 12th & 13th if that helps. You can reach me by PM here or email at thevettedr@aol.com

I will say that I do use HP Tuners which should be fine with EFI Live unless they changed to a custom OS for some reason. You could go by Extreme Performance first and have them pull the current program and sedn it to me to see whats up.

Also, if you decide to go with me I would want a full mod list to see what I am up against.

Hope this helps and good luck with whatever you chose.

I like Mike. I just dislike if there is an issue it may be months before he is back. The 2 I mentioned are concreted in south FL....

Definitely a concern for some but I am always obtainable via phone and I have three FL contacts with HP Tuners that I work with remotely if there is an issue. In this case, Extreme Performance has HP Tuners and we have worked on several cars via e-mailing tunes and logs on problem cars.

Pros and cons each way for sure.

That is good to know. I then retract the statement!

I still can't believe you moved to where it snows! No thanks! LOL!

Thanks and I will be the first to say that if you have a local tuner who is good, that is the way to go. If I could not support folks I would not feel comfortable doing the work.

As far as the snow, with the work I do I would much rather have it cold and be able to turn on the heat versus being hot an muggy. If it is more then 80 degrees and 90% humidity it is only good for going to the beach :-) Plus the overall quality of life and family values are generally much higher up here.

I like my quality of life better here than western ny where I'm from, but I agree with the family value thing!
