Just wanted to ask has anybody used this tire on the dragstrip? Found some at a good price but wanna know how good they are before I buy.

A friend gave me 2 same size and haven't had a chance to try them but hope someone chimes in on this to see if it's even worth me taking them to the track..

road race tires will be different compound material and heating cycle. If they are on wheels already, i dont see harm in a test, but i dont see an improvement.

Yea this guy has them on some 16" Camaro wheels but didn't wanna buy if they really suck! But they should be better then just a regular tire don't you think?

depending on the compound. different types of race tires are made up and are softer or harder than others. odds are they wont as they were designed for road race. if if get them for super cheap, go for it, but i think you would have fun autocrossing...

Yea I got them $150 wheels n 4 slicks ill just burn the **** out of them then get good ones..lol

I've never run those before but I have run all kinds of road race & autocross slicks. Put some heat in them and they'll get pretty sticky. Just drop the air pressure down to try and deal with a really stiff sidewall and I bet they'll do pretty good. You can always put all 4 on and go carve some corners.

Lol yea ill try that ! I'll just put 2 on the G8 n 2 on the ws6 and burn the **** out of them maybe even make a vid with both cars @ the same time..lol

Have a vid on what this tire did, Tire came out bad *** ! 5,000 RPM's Car is a 2002 Camaro ss with all bolt on's n with the 9" with 411 gears.

So we finally ran it @ the track with the cheap slicks lol not bad I think! 01 ss with black wing intake ,LT header,Y ,cutout,& the 9"..No tune.

no trans work? not too bad .60 ft for that.. must be a six speed

6 speed he dose have a different clutch dual center force but no trans work done yet!
