Thanks Drew. Haven't quite made it down yet. Household goods pack-up is in August, then I will have the vehicles shipped via carrier to Riverview (there goes my 4l80e money) and once my truck is fixed I will tow the Hayabusa's down. I appreciate you keeping me in the loop though, and look forward to seeing the beast. You perform your own stereo installation?

I am doing the stereo on Monday or Tuesday..my box just arrived at my Grandparents in Orlando where I order all my car parts due to the fact they are home all the time and have a lot of space..I moved to Tampa about a year ago and just moved my baby down here this month. Still trying to get into the car scene. I hang out in Orlando mostly but would like to meet a few Fbody people who are local..PM if you are local I need **** to do or some people to cruise with. Also when you move down here send me a PM we can go for a

EDIT I have a really good friend of mine who has been doing stereos for about 4 years now who is going to help me do it. Pic of the custom box.

Nice box. I may have to get with your bud then. I have a few vehicles I want to wire up with a basic 5 channel amp and single woofer setup. I will of course keep in touch prior to my final move. You ride as well? I have a few motorcycles.

Beer is not a problem friend. Would be nice to find a local brewery to support.

What difficulties did you run into with your car? For me I just need to wire my C10, 300ZX and Ram 3500. I see no need to spend too much per vehicle just for a decent head unit, 4 speakers, decent subwoofer and 700w 5 channel amp.

Well what took us the longest was taking apart the interior due to me and my friend wanting it to look nice, it's almost done just need to mount the amp to the box which we needed more wire and didn't have. Your trucks should be easier. Text me and I can send you some pics of what it looks like so far 4072745753

I live in Land O Lakes and work at MacDill. I could always use another drinking Buddy! I have been known to brew a batch or two of my own. Riverview is a little drive though. I won't be much help in the tech department. I am just starting to learn. I am researching doing a LS swap in my 67 Camaro now.

if you want a good micro brew, dont have to look far at all. Go to Ybor City's Tampa Bay Brewing Company. Good stuff for sure!

Any of you guys in the Comm squadron over there? I'm a Reservist down at Homestead and looking to do my Seasonal/OJT at MacDill. I got back home from BMT and Tech School about a month and a half ago and I've just been waiting for my Unit Training Manager to work out the details and get my orders cut but it's been somewhat of a hassle.

Other than that I'm an IT nerd and looking to move over that way from Central Florida. Love the coast over there, have family that way, and def prefer the fishing on the Gulf vs. the Atlantic. If I do get to go over that way I'd love to meet up with some fellow gearheads even though I no longer have an LSx powered machine .

Great car scene here if your willing to get out and go to the meets and such. Next event I'm heading to is this dyno day. Free chow and fast cars, nice mix.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/florida-m...day-tampa.html

Latest word on the street is GM high tech will be there along with quite a few sponsors. Only 40 bucks and 100% goes to charity.

Make sure you do a build thread for the Camaro and of course I will help in any way I can. You can send me details on your home brew if you still do it, or we can just drink and wrench.

Thanks for the link brother, I will be checking it out, especially now that I am jobless. Anybody looking for a System Admin or help desk manager

That is so on my calendar brother. Can kids come out? My daughter is with me and I am trying to get her into the car scene, beats her getting pregnant.

I will be officially in Tampa this weekend...permanently. Well as permanent as one can be in the military.
