Default Monster Caddy LS1 Swap

Here is the latest swap going on at the shop. It's a 1981 Caddy Deville Limo owned by WS600rr ( Sam ). We are swapping in a LS1/4L60E combo into it. Not looking to go fast, just a nice driver.

It's easier to tape up a car and not worry about scratching the paint with fender covers that don't cover the whole fender. It's cheap insurance as far as I'm concerned. Put a fender cover on a new vette or a classic camaro and watch the owner freak out lol. Most customers like the thought of it being there also.A little extra step we like to do.

Well, after many hours of scraping and degreasing and pressure washing the engine bay is once again workable. Here are a few pics of the mock up block and trans in place.

That's a night and day difference in the engine bay. Looking forward to all the extra space in there.
