Im located in the fort myers area and i moved here from wesley chapel. Any one else around here? i think it would be cool to get a meet started up

 

getting the f-bodies around here out for a meet is almost impossible anymore. you can always hit up fortmyersracing to see where some of the local car meets are.

I live in lehigh acres and frequent the cape coral fosters meet on wed nights. Theres a few monthly meets that have some fbodies like downtown ft myers river district and muscle car city in punta gorda. Theres a big car meet on monday nights at merchants crossing in north fort myers but that doesnt start up again till sept 10.

 

I'm down for a hang out in ft.Myers !

Actually there is a nice group of guys that meet all the time in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral/Naples area. We all use driversgarage.com and we have several GTOs, a couple of Mopars and one Mustang. You guys should come by and say hi. We just went to Bradenton as a group like 2 weeks ago and had a blast. We frequent Fosters, and the meet at Applebees too.

 

I'd like to see more F-body/LSX cars out on Friday nite T&T @ Immokalee Reagional Raceway. I go on race nights with my buisness car but ocasionally go on friday T&T nights with my street car just for fun.

Actually run you car instead of just bench racing.

I'm in Naples with a black 96 auto and a nbm 2000 m6. Both ws6 cars and my wife drives a 98 ws6 vert (which will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine). I would love to go to immokalee with some other f bodys or whatever LS/LT cars. I've never taken a car to the track and have intended to go. It would be more fun to have some friendly faces and similar cars there. I live by 75 on Immokalee rd. and the track is about an hour from there. Count me in on a field trip to the track or a meet any friday/weekend after this one.

 

We should plan something for next Friday @ the track ! I'll be there for sure.

 

yea, I went a couple of months ago and ran a 8.1 but im sure i can do better with more practice..

 

That's cool... my PB out there was an 8.04 with a 1.84 60' (and that was with the 2.73 gear) A bigger stall would put it well into the 7's !

well my 60' was a 1.7 .. was your car tuned when you hit 8.04

 

Good 60' (what tire?)...and yes it was tuned w/everything in my sig(except the 3.42 gear) w/only a 2600 converter.
I do need to get the tune tweeked as I haven't had a good pass since the gear swap... car bounces the limiter a couple of times on the 1-2 shift
