Default Anyone going to the Turkey Run at Daytona Speedway Thanksgiving weekend?

I just signed up for the turkey run and got my hotel. i'm coming up with a group from fort myers. there are going to be approx 5000+ cars there. i've never gone to the fall show before but i had my 95 T/A at the 2005 spring show back in the day and my 93 tbird SC there in 2004. Back then you had to have a pre 1973 car for the fall show, now it's pre 1980 unless it's a modern muscle car so I'm taking my trans am.

I go most every year, might go show off my latest work if I can finish in time.Daytona rod run is one of those shows it's ok to take project vehicles. I,ve had people from all over the country come up to me& say they were waiting to see what I'd do next. By the way, rod run is much larger than the spring show.

Looking forward to it,from Ohio. Was there 2008,2010,& 2011.
We do Bellaire Plaza on Friday & Saturday nights.
Went to the Daytona Dream Cruise in 2008,disappointing after having gone to the Woodward Dream Cruise a couple times. Only things that weren't a let down were meeting up with LS1tech members in the Home Depot parking lot and at Bellaire, seeing the Orlando Rat Pack fire up and following them on their cruise on A1A.

I'm kinda with ya 4u. The cars I like are spread to hell and back, can't never see everything. The swap meet is a joke. Spend ten bucks more and buy it new is what I find unless, it's a hard to find weird part that isn't made aftermarket. Bel-Air and just cruising around to the different hang outs are what we like. Been a bunch of times. Will I go again this year? Yep. Now, off my f'n>>>>>
