any salvage yard owner with even a little common sense is not going to leave98-02 LS1 any thing outside,they are mostly kept indoors,especially the motors.here in Tampa those cars major assemblies are kept safe indoors.

^ I wouldn't doubt that LS1 motors & T56's would be kept aside. Although, as I mentioned, the few yards I frequent dont even have 98 or newer V6 cars. Just thought it was really weird and apparently it is since people elsewhere are saying they see'em all the time. I guess I just need to venture further out. lights, wheels, interiors, brakes, suspension and body pieces are all can be useful regardless of powertrain.
