I miss the days when we used to have meets and always up for hanging out and helping with others cars. I live outside of Jax so I'm not going to try and arrange any kind of meet but if I know about one I'll do my best to make it out. Lets go ahead and see if a few of us can start something for this saturday. Even if only 4 guys show up we have to start somewhere right??? I heard Sonic got shut down too and rode through a few weeks ago with nobody there

Here in a couple weeks I am going to start hanging out at the Dicks wings parking lot, off Merrill rd, address is 9119 Merrill Rd. They have a group of older guys that are doing a car show/meet every 1st weekend of the month, and it is open to all. They have a ton of nice older cars, and the parking lot has plenty of room..

So as of now I am shooting for Saturday Feb 1st, I plan to be there around 5ish..

From what I have heard the Sonic deal is done, some kid ran over a younger kid, while playing around, and its over, they will not allow it, and they call the cops if they start seeing a group of cars gathering in the store parking lots. That is why I like this idea, its a group of grown folk, without the issues of having 1000 kids racing around the parking lot... plus they have Dicks wings right there, and they aint bad..

I never cared for the amount of silly import kids at sonic but it was a place to go. I'll see about meet on Merrill next month.

I will be there, along with some friends who have LS/LT cars. Plus the old school rides are nice, maybe hit the main street cruise a couple weekends after that.. and start making it a normal thing? Get out there early enough grab a decent spot and hang out.

I often go to the Hardees ,etc at Merill show on the 1st (formerly crystals). It's not as big as it used to be since k-mart Normandy among others got scheduled on the same night, but still one of my favorites. Think it will start getting bigger again.

Whats up parker, I am still wrenching away at my formula, but like I said earlier I am down to get something going, and maybe start getting together on the weekends and all. I am shooting for the next meet up at the Hardees off Merrill Rd. Which should be Feb 1st if I am not mistaken.. If I get it done alittle earlier, I might take it out to green cove and get some passes in on the new setup.

I jumped on the rivercity site, seems alittle slow, we used to have a small website out in Ca called Cencalracing.. it was a similar setup, with local guys/gals, and a good group of friends..
