sold the Hawk ive had my firehawk up for sale for awhile, and it was sold on saturday to a dealership as part of a trade in for a 14' 5.0. however learned something about it that surprised me quite a bit, the title i had was clean however the car was not in reality. the dealership was able to pull records from 2004/5 and found out the car was registered in louisiana at the time and had flood damage in 2005 and noted as a total loss. so yea it was a katrina car. it was noted as being rebuilt though as well awhile later, and i will say whoever rebuilt it did a dam good job. never had any issues aside from the tranny on its way out. anyways putting it out there so if anyone sees it at an auction your warned ahead of time. i never knew the history because the bank said the title was clean and when i looked at the title (which was a georgia title when i bought it) there was no issues. so it will be at auction, it runs fine and pulls hard but im putting it out because i know that anyone else would want to know if their car was a katrina car.
6 speed auto. the autos come with 3.31 gears. ive had a 12 and a 13 5.0 before and i didt like the manual. plus the manuals are having issues with the tranny and the 6-speed autos are having none. even tho the manual is fun no one can shift faster than a computer. im happy with it
