Default Time to pull the cars in the garage...

Everyone ready for Dorian? (What a terrible name, I can't help but think shes a little slow)

Can't think of anything I'd rather do on my 3 day weekend than prep the house and hunker down for a cat3 hurricane

Stay safe!

Yeah should be a good time. Curious if we'll actually get it directly, it always seems like it swings north at the last minute.

I'm in Winter Haven so I'm still banking on it turning or dying quick. I really don't feel like going a week without power again. Being in the middle of the state didn't help much last time.

Heard a new quote...." You know you're a Floridian when you care more about losing the 3 day weekend than you do about the hurricane that's coming."

I have a harbor freight coupon that's only good on labor day. When they said the storm's hitting that day I was a bit annoyed. I may have a mental illness lol

I had to work the weekend anyways, so not a big deal for me..... but I didn't look forward to preparing for a storm

I do hope that it makes a hard turn north sooner than later for everyone.

Seems like each update brings a 100 mile swing to the potential landfall location. Who knows.

If it really makes landfall on Tuesday morning then is still sitting over us in CFL on Wed as a Cat 1, it will be my first full day hurricane experience

I see the latest updates has it already a cat 4. They also changed the category prediction that it would be when it comes up through the state looked like it would have been a 1 if it came up through Tampa now they’re saying it will be a 2 all the way up to the top of the state.

Family in Okeechobee here. Hoping the storm turns North and out to sea!

Im honestly pissed lol they hyped it up and i don’t think they knew wtf was going on they just started slinging predictions out. How does that monster go from having the whole state of florida in its path to just being like skirt I’m out! Lmao! Bahamas looked horrible though scary stuff there. I’m just happy they finally restocked bread it’s ridiculous how fast it sold out here.

I'm probably an optimist in spite of everything, I saw an auction streaming, then the thought came that ha ha scatter cars can and happiness will fly over me. Oh, so you wake up in the morning and instead of a demolished barn there is a car in the yard.
