\ Kwiksilver, I know you are right that most automotive enthusiasts prefer to interact on FB. Sure, it is easier to monitor a FB feed on our phones, but I still believe that a Message Forum is a better platform for sharing knowledge or to remotely participate in a group project.
Our local crew doesn't need to be large anyway. Lets just gather those of us who truly enjoy the customization aspect of our hobby. We can work on our cars together, expand our knowledge / skills together, and show our cars together.. Who knows, your FB posts of our adventures could even draw a few more of us back to the forum..
hdaniel, So as the first to answer the call, what type of activities would you like our club to coordinate?
Do most of you have completed projects that you frequently drive to meets? Is anyone in the early stages of their project like me? I would love to see what all of you are working on.
I have a 4th gen TA shell that I just pulled out of storage. I really enjoy the customization and fabrication side of our hobby. Here are some inspirational photos I found online.
Thank you to all who have answered the call so far. I look forward to meeting all of you when we can coordinate a meet at Ace Cafe or similar venue. For now, it would be amazing if those of us essentially living in the same neighborhood, could meet up in February.
Looks like Blue 98 Ram Air in Mount Dora, hdaniel85 in Clermont, blackdirdls1 in Seminole County, and Tramminc in Orlando all live close enough to hang out on a regular basis.
