Holy crap. I don't feel so bad losing to him now. He must have been taking it easy on me. And I'm pretty sure that was paul's car too. Unless there is two cammed/sprayed pewter z28's with a black berger panel running around.

600awhp is INSANE!!! The last race in that video was on the I-110 between the Brent lane exit and the I-10 turn off. Ben I swear you need to get your engine in, you all motor against that guy would be a site to see.

Anyways this weekend was fun, Andrew it was nice meeting you, did you end up going out to Bayfront? I stayed in, I felt bad for my g/f so I rubbed her head the entire night.

Ben/Raegan, always a pleasure to hang out with you two. Hopefully it will start becoming a regualr occurance. See everyone around.

nah i stayed in, i got home sat down and was to lazy to get back up. hey real quick is $320 a good price for a used LS6 intake off an '02 TA, i dont know how many miles are on it? but anyway same hear luke i like your car........you're ok to i guess...hahah just playin. Ben and Raegan good seeing you guys, out of uniforms for a change. but let me know if the intake is a good deal or not. thanks---andrew

Make sure you get the part number off the intake and match it to those from GM. Some people try and pass LS1 intakes as LS6's. But yeah they usually see around 325-350.

Hey guys, this is Doug... the bearded round guy usually found plopped in a chair near a red Z-28 at BK. The GCFBA bunch has migrated back out to the beach for the weekly Hooters thing, now that things are starting to get back to normal out there. We generally park in a line in the main lot in front of The Dock, then walk over to Hooters at 7:30 or so. Come on out and hang with us... no need to be shy.

Hooters @ P'cola Beach, 7:30pm every Thurdsay. Be there, or... or don't.

Its not hard, per se', just real expensive. Phamspeed is a good kit but you have to uprgade alot more stuff than what the kit comes with. I did the same thing you guys are doing, researched turbo kits for like 2 months.

Great potential there with a built engine and the driveline to do it, but on a stock motor it's kind of a time-bomb waiting to happen on more than 7 or so pounds of boost.

I hope this weekend is clear, and hope alot of people come out.

Ben you started on your engine yet? Haven't really talked to anyone in a while.

Hey guys,

Luke is right about the turbo route. EXPENSIVE!!! The turbo kit is just the beginning. I went with the setup I have instead of the blower/turbo because of money. And the route I took is by no means cheap. If you add something like that with out the parts to back up the power, you will breaking things left and right. With that being said, blower/turbo route makes great power!!! But it takes money too.

Luke, I haven't started on the car yet. Every time I think about it, I think of more things to take apart and not put back on. And....I have to finish my buddies PooStang, get Andrews Pump in(get with me so we can figure out a good time for the both if us), get the Vette's interior back in, and a few house hold building projects done. With that being said, I hope to start tearing it apart next week.

Tomorrow Raegan and I are taking the Hawk out to the Holt Race/Show thingy thats going on to get some Virgin passes out of it.

So who's going to Holt on Friday!?

So is the car show on Friday or Saturday? Andrew said its the 7th, which is Saturday and Ben is going tomorrow? So when is it? I can't make it tomorrow night because of an office fund-raiser thing (Relay for Life)

I will be there hopefully Friday making the first runs on my new TCI 3800. I will also be there Saturday bracket racing. They have a great class for Street cars if you have never bracket raced before this is a great way to learn. In addition to the car show they will have a nostalgia heads up races as well as a Match race (best 2 out of 3) between Monty Todd's Blown alcohol '55 Chevy Funny Car and Track owner Tim Tindle's '41 ****** Blown Outlaw Pro Mod.
