Hey Ben, did you have to use 02 extensions for your headers? If you did where did you get them. All this little stuff like 02 sensors AIR and EGR blockoff stuff is getting to be a hassle. Thanks

I need the extenstions for the 02 sensors. And since your headers don't have the EGR hook-up, alls I need for that is the freeze plug for the intake manifold until I get my hands on a LS6 w/o EGR. I can get the freeze plug at an auto parts store.

As far as AIR, I need something to block off the vacuum line going back to the manifold. And I think that is it. I hope I can get all this stuff before the 24th.

And if anybody has any sly tricks on a header/over the axle dual install, let me know.

Well I'm going to see how well it runs with out the rears, and just leave the code, John said he can tune out the codes for CAGS, EGR, AIR and the rear 02's. So if runs good enough without the rear ones I'll just wait till the tune, no sense on wasting money if I don't need them.

I''ve got it all picked out, I just need to click the "checkout" button on Summit. Then I've got to order my mufflers from somewhere and find some 02 extenstions.

I've already changed my plus once, but since its such a common occurance to break a plug during a header install I'll prolly buy new plugs and wires anyways.

I think I got mine at Autozone for a couple of bucks a piece not too much. Check the gap on them though.

I think alot of the cars will be cruising to the Muscle Car Museum on Sat. and then eating at Lambert's. I'm not sure how long that will last.

Oh yeah. If anyone ever thinks about pulling their dash to take out the HVAC and Air Bag, think twice!!! It took me 2 hours, but what a pain!!! And that crap is so damn heavy!!! But it's gone now!!! I think I could store 2 people under the dash now. All I have to do now is pull the interior padding and put the fuel pump in, and it's bolt together time!
