I did a cruise from Gainesville to Garlits' museum in Ocala 3 years ago. Got 42 cars to go, they gave us the infield, and got Garlits to give a tour of his private shop 
We also had some guys drive up from the tampa/st. pete area. Afterwards, I had everyone drive 10 miles back north up I-75 to my workplace (National Parts Depot) to check out the 140+ classic and rare cars they have in their private collection. It was fun, and I'll do the legwork again if anyone is interested.
I'm up for a Race Rock show too, only a few hours drive, but need a good date!

here's my suggestions. I don't think anybody has a a problem with a Hooter's or Wing House.
There is a Wing House right off of I-4 in Altamonte. There is a Hooter's off of Kirkman and in Casselberry off 436.

How about July 9th so everyone has enought time. Also give me 3 or 4 Cities for location to make a poll. At the winner city someone would have to male arrangements for a meeting spot, you might have to set up something cause there could be too many cars for a restaurant parking lot, this could be big.

Kissimmee/Orlando is centrally located in the state. And with the PT ending there Fri and starting there next year, there will be a big draw of cars and a LS1 type meet can be setup.
Do it when its cool if you are not going to do it when there is a big draw in FL.

Also, try for a different weekend, as some of us race weekends for points and can't skip them. I'd love to bring some G-ville flava south, as long there's a good supply of 93 to get me there!

we have been meeting at hooters on kirkman rd and there is a new wing house opening just a few blocks down and thats were are monthy show is going to be. we got a small site going here is the link. you are all welcome.
