I'm in Jax and was wondering the some thing - so far it's still a go. Don't know who can/would cancel it first but the track info number is 352-327-0046 if you don't have it.

I don't think it would be Gainesville Raceway's call since the track is rented out by Super Chevy for the weekend. I'll see what I can find out....

The weather computer models are very unprecise as to what the storm will do as this is a unique one. Looks like chances are looking better for racing on the earlier part of the weekend atleast.

If you're driving a good distance I wouldn't chance it, we're gonna have rain this weekend.

I am not going for multiple reasons including the good chance of rain. Bradenton Super Chevy should be early next year, I will try for that one.

Let me know whoever goes tommorow I am planning to travel from Miami on Saturday the weather for Gainesville looks decent on Sunday. Just check out the weather forecast on the Gainesville Raceway website. As long as the storm keeps moving this slow weather will not be a problem in northern florida for this weekend. Just remember that in Daytona they have Biketoberfest going on this weekend and nothing as been canceled there.
