I`ve gone to 2 of these and the turnout last Sat 4/29 was still quite a few cars I was #76. It seems like that from now on this will be run every time the night after the big 10.5 tire race at Sunshine so traction will be great!

LOL.
The turnout was down for a couple reasons as Dino said.
Still had a decent group of racers there and actually it was better since people could get more runs in.
I am the one who said that the police and other partners were putting a spin on things to forward their own organizations and to make it appear that they are more involved that what they actually are. Just more people tryin' to ride coattails and take undeserved credit.
Many articles and interviews have been given w/o RevX being involved. Many of them didn't even include RevX.
What they don't seem to realize is that no one will come to an event sponsored by the police.
The goal has always been to provide an alternative on Saturday nights. It's actually kinda selfish really. We want to race but don't wanna get busted. A side-bonus that happened out of it was that it could possibly help the city.
As far as I'm concerned they can take the train and we can have the kind of event that was originally intended.
Several more companies have shown interest and have already donated prizes for future events.
The feedback overall has been rather positive.
We've talked to Todd about moving the event so we'll see how that goes.
Thanks to all for your continued support.
