RevXtreme Street Nights at Sunshine Dragstrip "RevXtreme Street Nights!"
Event Date: April 1st
Drag-racing School taught by Matt Scranton: 3pm-5pm
Event Time: 6pm-12am
Event Loc: Sunshine Dragstrip www.sunshinedragstrip.com
Event Rules:
-All safety specs must be adhered to at all times.
-Street legal cars only. Trailoring a car in is okay.
-DR/Slick tired cars are permitted.
-NO open header cars. Must have exhaust.
-Release from liability waivers must be signed by all participants.
-Minors (Under 18) must have notarized parent signature or be accompanied by a parent so that they can sign the waiver.
-No alcohol on premises.
-Participants must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner while on premises.
Partnerships:
ClubRX has partnered with C.A.R.S. (Cops Against Racing on Streets), Safe Teen Driver, and Scranton Brothers Racing.

The drag-racing school would be at least $10 to get into Sunshine. I don't know if they will send you down the track during the lessons but if they did, that'd cost another $10. Then you can stick around to race during the event. 
Yes, $20 to race... 10 for entry + 10 for racing.

It is VERY important that we have a great turn out. We asked Todd for every Saturday but he wants to feel things out. At this time there are possible dates that only let us do this once a month.
If we can prove that this thing can be successful for him as a track owner he will listen ... We are pushing for at least twice a month with hopes for every Saturday night.
This event has a political / law enforcement backing too. They want to keep racing off the streets. With support like that RevXtreme Street Nights could become something that sticks.
So, if you are trying to determine what track you want to go to Sat night... strongly consider coming to Sunshine. If this 1st one is successful the next one will be better and they will happen more often.

Sounds like a great program and alot of fun!!! Wish my car was finished. Went to H.S. with Matt in Tampa...Cool guy, havent seen him in years and its good to see him giving back to the community.

I`ll see you out there Gator, along with a couple other guys from Orlando and maybe I can get 1 of the NoBull competitors to come race at Sunshine Sat night.
