Any LS1/F-Body shops near Sarasota? Anything fun to do there period? Hey, ill be going on vacation for spring break to Sarasota and while im there i was curious if there are any nice LS1/F-Body speed shops i can visit. Also what are some other attractions/stuff you think i should do while im down there. Yes Pirates Cove putt-putt is already on the list and a must

If you're bringing your car down, you owe it to yourself to check out Bradenton Motorsports Park, Test and Tune on Thursday nights (3/30/06) 6-11 pm, great 1/4 mile track and easy drive from Sarasota. www.bradentonmotorsports.com

Nope, were flying down but trust me, id much rather drive my car down. What else is fun i can do while im down there? Any nice golf courses youd suggest in Sarasota or Bradenton?

oh yea, busch gardens is already on the list. ill be spending a day in tampa. Ive been to the same place about 4 years ago and we went to busch gardens and it was nice, no cedar point, but nice. Wonder if they have more than the kumba and montu now? I am young but i think i may be a little old for disney land now, lol.

Go to Siesta Key for the beach in Sarasota. It is the best beach around that area. You have BMP on Thurs and Sunshine on Wed night but they are in St Petersburg. Not a whole lot going on in Sarasota. As far as a good shop close RevXtreme is the closest one to ya that will have anything going on.

Supposedly Girls Gone Wild was filming in Clearwater/St. Pete a couple weeks ago.. hehe
Siesta should have been the location, but they tightened the dress codes here
Siesta beach was ranked #2 under Miami for best beaches in the world by the Travel channel. The sand is like powdered sugar.

http://www.sarasotagolfnet.com/index1.html Bobby Jones is a nice course, they have a "British Side" that is really opened up. It's season, so call in advance for a T-time, and it aint cheap (usually $25 and up for 18 holes).
