Default Who tunes WELL!!! in central Florida?

I need a tune...and need a great one at that!!!

my sig has the mods and I put on a 90/90 setup, Racetronix in-tank pump..with new ls1speed fuel rails..............so needless to say that I need a tune bad!!!

I really don't like the shop that is here in town...in Orlando!! not too name names....but who the hell cares, we are all grown *** men!! I dont want to deal with Next Level Performance.

Who else knows their **** when it comes to tuning?

Thanks in advance guys!!

I would pm Jimmyblue for that kind of information. He's in the area and always in tuning discussions, so he's sure to know of some.

I've just about given up with NLP.
They just can't seem to get my tune right.
Next step is to do it myself.

So far as shops go, I hear Macedo and Vinci also handle LS1 tuning but I don't know anyone personally who can vouch for the results. People post good results at RevXtreme in Tampa.

I would suggest doing it yourself if you can afford HPT/EFILive and a wideband. Sometimes the shops will offer less expensive tuning options if you don't immediately need fuel or timing tuning, or just need codes disabled. I don't have an 01 license but I can help with HPT if you're in a pinch, or better yet PM Jimmy, who lives on the east coast.

How did the shock install go?

I would contact Jeremy Formato, since he will come to you. Or you could call Rev Xtreme.

I'd also suggest Jeremy. He does great work and takes the time to discuss everything with you.

Hey All,

Not sure if we did something to offend Mike or not and if we did I apologize. If this is the same car I am thinking of it was back in 2003 and I remember a car breaking a driveshaft on the last run at the top of 4th gear. Too exciting to say the least. I understand that folks like or dislike shops for one reason or another and I know I can not pease everyone, but if you give me the opportunity I will see what we can do, otherwise the best of luck to you as there are definitely other choices out there.

z06ufgrad2002,

I know our schedules never seem to mesh up to get you back in here and I am willing to spend some time on the car when we can get together for more then a quick change. The last appointment we had went bad due to a unexpected extension to a south Florida tuning trip and my apologies to that. Just let me know.

Later All,

Mike Norris

+1 for Jeremy Formato- he retuned my car and I picked up almost 30 rwtq. after a prefessional tuner had done the job. I get better gas mileage and better throttle response, not to mention that it picked up power. Jeremy also explains what he is doing while tuning your car and will answer your questions. very good customer service.

Hey All,

Mike and I swapped PM's and I offered to take care of his re-tune for no charge and see if we can get things done for him. I also mentioned that it is not any big deal if he uses someone else as it is his car and he needs to feel comfortable with his decision for sure. I am sure I will here from him one way or another. Have a great day.

Mike Norris in Orlando is great, good rep. Jeremy no longer tunes for us but he is also proven good. RevXtreme in Tampa of course is my 1st choice, since I live there! And I'm biased. All mentioned are good choices!
