Help from Orlando LS1 Peeps Please...FRAUD I realize this is somewhat of an act of desperation, but I am in need of some serious help from you guys if you would be so kind
I was browsing a classifieds site recently and someone posted an ad w/ 4 available Nextel phones for sale. Claimed he had used them with him, his wife, and brother and sister and they switched services. I made arrangements to pay him for them as I need them for use in my business and sent the money via Western Union last week. I got his package today w/ 4 ******* rocks in it. I realize that I have several avenues to pursue with this, but I wanted to post here as well.
I have contacted my bank, the FBI internet fraud division, as well as the western union location where it was sent, but none seem to be able to do much thus far. I'm hoping the bank will come through and help me, but who knows.
The address he gave appears to be in downtown Orlando so who knows if it is real, but I DO KNOW his phone# is real so feel free to bombard him if possible . I realize this might be a lot to ask but if you are in the area and can stop by and see who or what is at the address or possibly leave him a few interesting phone messages that would help too. Any help is of course appreciated.

i live 8.15 miles from that address. it's in a neighborhood where you bring guns with you. if i remember, i might drive through and see if it's a business or residence. it's a mixture of both in that area.

Reverse lookup on the phone #
You could maybe contact the phone co and ask them to give the police the registered users address.

yea, mrr2 is right, you need to be gangsta and probably carry a weapon(gun preferrably) oh and it might help to not be white. I think im going to take a drive down there too and check it out.

not to be a bitch in this thread.....but it seems that i saw a thread like this a few months ago....about some guy in texas getting screwed by some guy in florida....just seems kinda weird...:weird:.....the guy from texas was saying the exact same stuff...about " its cool to harass" and stuff...but it was over car parts and not this stuff......hmmm....if its true though.....get those orange county bastards to get off there ***, stop screwing mickey and do some real police work.....i think they carry the Hnk's down there....they can at least throw them at the guy

it ain't that bad down there, just don't get out of your car 
I heard some of the "gangs" down there were doing that thing where they block the road by standing in the middle of the street so cars would stop, then they would try to mug the person and steal anything possible. If that were to happen to me, I don't care if anything happened to the outside of my car, i ram right into some of them hoodrats. What are they going to do call the cops and say "i was trying to mug someone and they ran over me."
And yea dude, why did you use Western Union? Paypal is the best way to pay for things over the intraweb, that way you can really screw someone over if they try to screw you over.

That really sucks to say the least! I live about an hour an a half away from O' Town but I do have a brother who lives in Longwood which is about 10 minutes from downtown. I work at a law firm and we have (2) investigators that could possibly help you out and I also have an attorney friend who does criminal matters that has an office in downtown Orlando. 
But you may want to give the State Attorney's office in Orlando a call and see what they can do for you. The number is (407) 836-2400. Tell them you are from out of town and what happened and go from there. Good Luck and let me know if I can help.
