I have a lot of respect for my other friends mach1 and cobra. They are very well built motors. I just dont think ford did a good job with the gt.
14.8? your buddy cant drive. I love GM's but there are some quick fords. Also you cant compare the 2 car stock for stock. If im not mistaken the 03 Gt is heavier then a LS1 camaro and the LS1 has a bigger motor. In drag racing the faster car doesnt always win. Remember they have a stronger rear AND who knows what he has done to his suspension.

I just pulled the motor apart to change the cam....Ed is gonna help me get it back together then ill be happy to try it out. I was watching videos of your car here at work...seems like its quick. Hey Jeff, it's a small world. I'm pretty sure you were at my house once in the past, with Eddie. I couldn't get you guys to race then, so I'm not surprised now.
Anyhow, you know where I live, Bring It!
P.S.-if you're looking for a quality tune, you should let me know.

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

point is i dont think ford built the mustang with much quality...have used the same chassis since the foxbody....what does that tell you....i have a lot more respect for the 05 and up. That is just my opinion

C'mon Trent, dont you sell Mustang parts? Same chassis from 79-04, with a few updates along the way. Same exact rear suspension pieces interchange from all years. Front stuff is all real similar as well, with all years of lower control arms and spindles interchangeable.
But what I want to know is how much power did 2 valves o'wonder make on the dyno tonite? Hopefully I'll get a chance to find out for myself from a stoplight.

LOL!!
Sadly enough, I might know more about Mustangs than most Mustang guys, we all had to cut our teeth somewhere. Besides, it's always best to know your enemy. In fact, V-series can tell you that when I went to buy my car, I was planning to come home with an 01-02 GT. After driving no less than 4 of them, my Chevy lovin buddy convinced me to drive a Z-28. The only one I could afford was an auto and I walked away from it immediately. After much prodding by Josh and the salesman, I decided to drive it, cant hurt, right? Well, it took only one heavy left foot stab to have me reaching for a pen to sign the papers.
Trying to compare these cars stock to stock is apples to oranges. Night to day. Not even close.
So Jeff, what did she make?

So Jeff, what did she make?
Left foot jab? so you slammed the brakes? Or did you mean right foot?
